There is no shortage of sea food when you live on the island and you haven’t lived until you’ve eaten shrimp off a truck on the side of a two lane highway. Trust me on this. Yes they actually prepare all the food in this camper turned kitchen.. you’re not exactly going to see a Zagat rating on this one, however the shrimp was exceptional. Comparitively speaking this was a classy establishment as far as shrimp to go eats. Most don’t have a nice tented seating area or a truck with a mural..
Just don’t look directly into the windows cause you might not like what you see in there.. so it’s best just to live in ignorance regarding the working conditions. You do have to be willing to get you’re hands a little dirty as demonstrated on the picture above.
Eating the shrimp proved to be a little more work than we were used to…luckily Pam mentioned the legs and tail removal before Lisa tried to eat a whole shrimp.. that could have been a disaster.
